No fewer than 39 Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI) students in Enugu on Saturday graduated from the British IAU17 entrepreneurship project, located within the university. The project is being funded and supported by the British Council. GOUNI also partnered the London School of Economics (LSE), DNA Learning Centre, Nigeria, at GOUNI, its Directorate of Entrepreneurship (DOE) and Spark Concepts Management Limited (SCML) to train the students. Cholera has reportedly killed 30 people of Ekureku community in Abi local government area of Cross River state. The permanent secretary in the state Ministry of Health, Dr. Iwara Iwara who confirmed the development told Vanguard that a team comprising Red Cross, the state epidemiology unit, and the Ministry of Health had been dispatched to the community for first-hand assessment of the situation. The Nigerian Navy (NN) Board has approved the promotion of 55 senior officers to various ranks in the service. Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai has been sued by a former kingmaker, Ibrahim Muhammad Aminu over the appointment of Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli as the 19th Emir of Zazzau.
