A Customary Court in Nyanya Abuja on Friday dissolved a 10-year-old marriage between Blossom Ameh and her husband Simon over childlessness. The Police Service Commission (PSC) has approved the appointment of two Deputy Inspectors-General of Police (DIGs) and promotion of 427 senior police officers. The African Youth Assembly called for compensation for Africa from wealthier nations of the West to mitigate climate change. The Supreme Court on Friday ended the leadership tussle in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Edo chapter with the dismissal of an appeal instituted at the Apex Court by Dan Orbhi-led faction. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has unveiled a new initiative aimed at stopping the spread of an invasive mosquito species, Anopheles Stephensi in Africa. This is contained in a statement on Thursday.
