At least 20 people have been killed following a deadly attack by armed bandits on Dangulbi community in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State, in what residents described as one of the worst assaults on the area in recent months. Nigeria’s gross external reserves increased by approximately $1.22 billion in May 2026, closing the month at $49.58 billion, according to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
