The Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NiHSA) on Thursday warned that many communities may soon face serious flooding as water levels in Rivers Niger and Benue, and their tributaries, have risen to their peak. The Federal Government has urged African countries to take full control of the fight against malaria, warning that reliance on foreign aid will only delay progress against the deadly disease. The Chairman of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, has announced that the airline’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) center, which will cost N32 billion, will create more than 50,000 jobs.
