The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja Branch, has given the Federal Government and Electricity Distribution Companies (Discos) a seven-day ultimatum to reverse the old electricity tariff or face a lawsuit. The chairman of the branch, Mr Seyi Olawunmi, said this at a news conference on Tuesday in Lagos. MTN Nigeria says its total subscribers increased by 1.3 percent to 77.7 million, as at March 31, 2024, from 76.7 million recorded in the same period of 2023. MTN Nigeria’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr Karl Toriola, said this in the company’s unaudited financial statement sent to the Nigerian Exchange Ltd. (NGX) in Lagos.
