The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.  JAMB’s Registrar Ishaq Oloyede announced the release of the UTME results in a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Bwari on the outskirts of Abuja. According to Oloyede, over 1.94 million candidates registered and sat for the examination in 118 towns and over 700 centres across the country. The Minister of Power, Mr Adebayo Adelabu says the Federal Government requires 10 billion dollars investment yearly, to revive the power sector for the next 10 years. Nigeria is poised to produce 4,000 tonnes of lithium per day, Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said on Monday in Abuja. Declaring opening a two-day roundtable on Sustainable Development of Nigeria’s Mining Sector, Shettima said President Bola Tinubu would soon inaugurate Nigeria`s largest lithium factory capable of processing 4,000 metric tonnes of lithium daily. The Board Registrar, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede disclosed this at a news in Bwari on Monday.
