Gunmen abducted a lecturer and two children of a member of staff of the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria, Kaduna State, on Saturday. The Secretary, Information and Protocol Unit of the polytechnic, Mr Abdullahi Shehu, said on Sunday that the victims were abducted from their homes located within the institution. The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 112 new infections of the Coronavirus (COVID-19 in the country. The NCDC made this known via its verified website on Saturday.
