The Ma’ajin Watari Foundation (MWF), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) has promised to provide scholarship to 90 female science students to tackle shortage of female medical personnel in Kano State. The Kaduna Police Command, have arrested a 20-year old mother, Faith Alhassan for allegedly throwing her own child into a well in order to marry her former boyfriend. According to the Police, the corpse of a baby girl was found in the well at Gantan village in Kachia local government area of the state on December 28, 2020 at about 7:00am. The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has said that one woman died while three children sustained various degree of injuries in a road accident on Gbogan -Ibadan highway on Thursday. The FRSC Sector Commander in Osun, Mrs Kudirat Ibrahim, disclosed this in a statement by the command spokeswoman, Mrs Agnes Ogungbemi in Osogbo.
