The Kaduna state government on Tuesday, said that accidental detonation of an object injured seven children in Igabi Local Government Area of the state. Mr Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, confimed the incident in a statement issued in Kaduna. Bandits have killed the village head of Kusherki in Rafi local government area of Niger state, Mas’ud Abubakar and abducted his wife, children and some other persons. Jimoh Ibrahim has lost bid to vacate a Federal High Court order on seized assets over N69.4bn debt. The Court in Lagos declined to vacate an interim order through which the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria, AMCON, seized his properties. Ibrahim, NICON Investment Ltd and Global Fleet Oil and Gas Ltd, had in a motion on notice, prayed the court to set aside the order for “non-disclosure and misrepresentation of material facts”. The Federal High Court, Abuja, on Tuesday, dismissed a suit seeking an order restraining Mr Mohammed Adamu from parading himself as the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
