A Magistrate’s Court in Yola on Thursday remanded Aminu Yar’Adua, 36, the son of late former President Musa Yar’Adua, in prison for allegedly killing four people in an auto crash in Yola. Less than 24 hours after the passage of the Law creating the new 19 Local Council Development Authorities (LCDAs) by the Ekiti House of Assembly, one of the affected communities, Ilasa Ekiti, has rejected the exercise. The federal government has begun biometric data capture of 642,000 pupils to scale up implementation of the National Home-Grown School Feeding programme (NHGSFP) in Borno.
