The Federal government has withdrawn the directive for account holders in financial institutions to fill self-certification forms and has also apologised in that regard. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 131 new cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of infections in the country to 56,735. The NCDC made this known on its official twitter handle on Thursday. It said the new cases were confirmed in 18 states.
