Relief has finally come on the way of commuters with the approval by the Federal government of the sum of N7 billion for the ‘urgent’ rehabilitation of the 46.3km Cham to Numan road. Ironsi, also a retired midwife, said in Lagos that doctors and nurses saw rape and other sexual assaults only as medical issues requiring medical attention without seeing the human rights angle. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 151 new COVID-19, infections in the country. The NCDC made this known on its official twitter handle on Friday. The centre said that the 151 new cases brought the nation’s confirmed COVID-19 infection to 59,992.
