A Nigerian Cleric, Prophetess Teleola Oganla, has bagged the British Empire Medal (BEM) from Queen Elizabeth II for her humanitarian and community services to the less-privileged. A statement by Oganla’s Media Aide, Ms Deola Joe, said the cleric was recognised for her years of dedication towards uplifting the less-privileged, especially in the UK and Africa. Air Peace, has taken delivery of a new 50-seater Embraer 145 Jet to help boost its domestic and regional operations. A Civil Society Organisation, Yiaga Africa, has called on the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), to accept the outcome of the Oct. 10 gubernatorial election in Ondo State. The University of Mkar in Benue has confirmed the death of its two lecturers, Mr Joshua Leva and Mr Moses Tarnongo, in a motor accident on October 10 at a village near Gbatse in Ushongo local government area of the state. The institution’s Registrar, Rev. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 111 new COVID-19 infections in the country. The NCDC made this known on its official twitter handle on Saturday. The public health agency said the 111 new cases were reported from 11 states, bringing Nigeria’s total number of confirmed cases to 60,103. So far, the agency said it has conducted about 551,362 COVID-19 tests since the first confirmed case was announced in the country. A Professor of Petroleum Economics, Wumi Iledare says it will be difficult for Nigeria to fund 2021 budget of N13.08 trillion with oil revenue, going by the development in the global oil market.
