The Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH), has reviewed the Chemosafe Policy to ensure standardisation and safety in the administration of cancer medicine in the country. Dr Okpako Okpikpi, National Coordinator, National Cancer Control Programme, FMoH, disclosed this on Friday in an interview in Abuja at the end of the Cancer week. President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the gruesome vehicle accident in Mgbowu, Awgu local government area of Enugu state, in which scores of people died, most of them school pupils. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 150 new COVID-19 infections in the country. The NCDC made this known via its verified website on Thursday. The centre also recorded two COVID-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours in the country. It said that the 150 new cases were reported from nine states of the federation. The NCDC added that the total number of infected people in the country has jumped to 62,521.
