This follows the retirement of the former Head of Service, Alhaji Sani Garba Shuni, who attained the age of 60 on December 30, 2020. Sokoto state is set to benefit from a $20 million from the World Bank to enable it reinvigorate its economy lashed by the vagaries of COVID-19 pandemic.
