The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has recorded 11 deaths and 655 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 153,842. The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday. The centre also reported 11 COVID-19-related deaths, bringing the total fatality in the country to 1,885. The Lagos State Government has announced that there would be total closure of the third mainland bridge from midnight Friday to midnight Saturday. The Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde who made this known in a statement issued in Lagos on Wednesday, said the bridge would be closed for 24 hours. The Senate has approved N11 billion 2020 budget for Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPFT).
