The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has called on the Libyan Government to take all possible measures to arrest and surrender of Seif al-Islam Gaddafi to the court. Sudanese Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdouk, announced on Monday that the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) have written off their debts to Sudan, a step that will “open the door wide” for the return of Sudan to the international community. The Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Ms Kristalina Georgieva has assured African leaders of $33 billion from the expected Special Drawing Rights (SDR) of 650 billion dollars. A technician and a yet-to-be-identified person have been confirmed dead as gas explosion rocked Conference Hotel in Abeokuta on Tuesday. The hotel, located at the Water Corporation headquarters junction, in Ogun capital, is owned by a former governor of the state, Gbenga Daniel. Three others were said to have sustained injuries in the explosion and are currently receiving treatment in a hospital.
