Residents of Abakaliki, Ebonyi capital have been thrown into fear over the sit-at-home order by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB. The Leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, had called on the five Eastern states to stock food items ahead of the order. Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno has identified poverty and illiteracy as some of the factors responsible for insurgency in the country. The Coronavirus vaccine produced by BioNTech/Pfizer can be used for children aged 12 and upwards, according to the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Marco Cavalleri, the regulatory body’s director for vaccine strategies, said on Friday the data showed that the vaccine was safe for children and seems to be effective in helping them resist infection.
