World Health Organisation (WHO), Director-General, Tedros Ghebreyesus, says Africa with the lowest vaccination coverage at two per cent is unacceptable, calling G20 Health Ministers to support regional vaccine manufacturing. Ghebreyesus told the G20 health ministers meeting in Rome that almost 75 per cent of those doses have been administered in just 10 countries, while Africa had the lowest vaccination coverage at two per cent. The Jigawa Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), says it has rescued nine victims of human trafficking in the state. The NIS Comptroller in the state, Mr Isma’il Abba, told newsmen in Dutse on Monday, that the victims were rescued on Thursday in Kazaure local government area of the state. The federal government says it will soon commence the construction of a modern toilet with borehole and solar powered pump, as part of efforts to curb cholera outbreak in the FCT. The Niger State Internal Revenue Service (NGSIRS) on Monday shut down eight commercial banks and the state head office of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) over alleged N456 million tax debts.
