The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, strengthened 28 pips to 6.4386 against the U.S. dollar on Friday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. Nigeria recorded six COVID-19-related deaths with 226 fresh cases confirmed across 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
