Nigerian government says it has commissioned several sites in the six geopolitical zones of the country toward actualising its promise of electrifying five millions homes with solar energy by 2023. The Seventh Triennial Delegates’ Conference of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Thursday elected Chris Isiguzo for a second term in office as President. Isiguzo polled 665 votes to defeat his opponent, Yusuf Idris, from Kaduna State Council of NUJ, who scored 15 votes. The World Health Organisation (WHO) on Thursday unveiled an $8 billion dollar pathway out of the COVID-19 pandemic, to facilitate vaccines’ accessibility to everyone, everywhere.
