Terrorists have killed three persons in Anguwan-Toma, a community in Munya local government area of Niger state. Anguwan-Toma is 2km from Sarkin Pawa, the headquarters of Munya local government, and a route linking Niger state to Kaduna express road. According to Shehu Abubakar, a resident of the area, many people were also abducted during the attack which took place on Monday night. He said the quick response by security operatives, especially the military, saved other communities in the area from the attack. Senator Aliyu Wamakko and member, Muslim World League, has laid foundation for late Sheikh Buhari Siriddawa Jumu’at Mosque in Sokoto. The mosque was initiated by the late’s eldest son, Yahaya Buhari in memory of the his late Sarkin Mallaman Sakkwato. Wamakko, who performed the foundation laying ceremony assisted by the Executive Secretary of Police Trust Fund, Ahmad Aliyu, expressed happiness with the quality of work and prayed Allah to bless the founder and give him energy to complete the mosque project.
