Pakistan’s National Seismic Monitoring Centre said on Thursday that an earthquake of 6.0 magnitude rocked several cities.
According to the centre, the epicenter of the quake was located in the Hindu Kush region in neighbouring Afghanistan with a depth of 213 km.
The earthquake was felt in several parts of the country’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, eastern Punjab province and federal capital Islamabad.
According to the report, no life was lost or property has been immediately reported to be destroyed.
But the quake created panic among people who scrambled out of buildings and compounds.
