The Managing Director of BUA, Engr. Haliru Binji, stated this while presenting the drugs in Sokoto.

The company said that it expanded the scope of coverage for benefiting health facilities from eight clinics to 14 following popular demand by the communities.
He noted that the company is also donating cement to 68 communities to facilitate repair works on communal facilities such as mosques, cemeteries, drainages, and other facilities ahead of the rainy season.
He added that no fewer than 150 students have so far benefitted from the company’s scholarship scheme since its inception in 2017.
“Out of this number, 47 have graduated and we currently have 103 students on the scholarship payroll. This year and next academic session, a total of 55 scholarship slots will be issued as follows: Wamakko 20, Sokoto 15, Zamfara 10, and Kebbi 10.
“This year, the company has increased the number of scholarship slots allocated to Wamakko LGA from 15 to 20 and also increase the amount of scholarship grants, given the economic realities now. This will bring the total number of our students on scholarship to 158,” he said.
