ASHENEWS reports that the Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago has announced the dissolution of the Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC).
The Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman stated this in a tarse statement issued on Sunday in Minna.
The SSG said that the dissolution took effect from May 29, 2023.
“Members of the Commission were directed to hand over all property of the State Government in their possession to the most senior Director in the Commission with immediate effect,” the statement said.
