The Majority Leader of the House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, on Wednesday, was remanded to prison custody by a Kano Magistrate Court, pending his bail application, SOLACEBASE has reported.
On Tuesday, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), arrested Doguwa, and handed him over to the Police in Kano.

He is standing trial on several offences including criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide, unlawful possession of fire arm, mischief and public disturbance.
The Senior Magistrate, Ibrahim Mansur Yola remanded Doguwa in prison custody untill March 7th, 2023 for hearing of his bail application.
