The Rumde ward officials of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Yola North Local Government area of Adamawa State, have lifted the suspension earlier slammed on the Northeast National Vice Chairman of the party, Mustapha Salihu.
The Ward Chairman, Abdulkadir Abdullahi in a Press Conference held at the party’s office said an internal feud because of divergence interest is what may consume the party if care is not taken.
According to him, the disunity among party loyalists is what caused the internal party squabble that led to a purported suspension of Comrade Salihu Mustapha.
He revealed that the party is solely under the leadership and control of Comrade Salihu Mustapha who has been supporting them at all times.
He, therefore said the party is more united and became one with a prime aim, a single purpose to work for APC more so that the party will face the Governorship election in two weeks.
Also speaking Ward Secretary Garba Mohammed said Salihu is the APC Man in full. A great man that is standing strong for the party his suspension was an act or error that can never repeat itself.
Mallam Garba also said that the suspension was kangarooniously done and orchestrated by some party members who are stooges of some politicians outside the party.
The Vice Chairman, Abdullahi Hamid admitted that all the two warring factions have agreed to form a unitary party system that will build a cohesive ward APC in Adamawa.
