The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Ademola Adeleke as winner of the Osun state governorship election.

He scored a total of 403,371 votes by garnering highest votes in 19 of the 30 local government areas, to beat Oyetola who polled 375,027 votes. The incumbent won in 11 local government areas.
