The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has reported 143 new cases of coronavirus.
The Centre on its official Twitter handle, @NCDCgov Monday evening said Plateau state recorded the highest number of 35, followed by Kaduna which recorded 21 and Lagos 19.

It further tweeted that confirmed infections in Nigeria now stood at 54,008; 41,638 patients have been discharged while 1,013 have been recorded as deaths.
