The main opposition candidate in South Korea’s presidential election, Yoon Suk-yeol has been elected the country’s next president on Thursday.
He defeated the ruling party candidate, Lee Jae-myung candidate, who has also conceded defeat and congratulated Yoon in a statement read at the party headquarters.
