Aspiring young politician and Youth leader, Shamsuddin Dikko has sympathized with the families of the abducted staff of Zaria local government, urging the public to increase their level of vigilance and security consciousness.
Reacting to the report of abduction of more 10 staff of the local government on transit to Giwa on Monday, Dikko, the Chief Executive Officer of Tripple-S&S General Services Ltd Abuja said he felt the pain of the entire people of Zaria over the unfortunate incident.
“We received the news of the kidnap of scores of members of staff of the Zaria local government on an official condolence mission to a community in Giwa on Monday with a deep sense of worry and shock.
“As members of the community, we share the pains of the affected families, the concerns of the local government council, the Emir of Zazzau and the Kaduna State government.
“While praying for the safe rescue of the victims made up of grown up men and women, we urge for sustained prayers for devine intervention and most importantly, increased level of vigilance and public security consciousness,” Dikko said.
He called for improved community relations and cooperation with government troops and other security services who have risked their lives on the frontlines in order to keep the rest of the society secure and safe, saying, “we are confident that the North would overcome its current challenges and move on.”
