The Publisher of ASHENEWS, Abdallah el-Kurebe has been reelected as Registrar, at the just-concluded election of the Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria (SDNON).
In the electoral process that concluded on Friday afternoon, the chairman of the Electoral Committee, Bamidele Adeyemi, stated, “I am pleased to announce that we have our newly elected SDNON Executives.

ASSISTANT GENERAL SECRETARY-ELECT — Adenike ABIONA
TREASURER-ELECT — Angela DAVIES
FINANCIAL SECRETARY-ELECT — Lillian AZUH
REGISTRAR-ELECT — Abdallah EL-KUREBE
WELFARE OFFICER-ELECT — Iyabo AINA
In accordance with our bylaws, the additional nomination of Kanyinulia OKEKE as PRO “was made upon the polling clicks of twenty (20) SDNON members.” The bylaws state that these clicks, with the written consent of the nominee, need to be filed with the Secretary of association.
“We need to thank the Electoral Committee; Gbolahan Adetayo, Jennifer Nwosu, and Bamidele Adeyemi for all their work, and thank you to every SDNON member who stood for election.”
