The media aide of the Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Igboho, Mr Olayomi Koiki has debunked media reports that his principal has been released by the government of Benin Republic.
Media reports Tuesday evening indicated that Igboho and his wife, Ropo Adeyemo who were arrested in Cotonou Monday night, had been released and were on their way to Germany.
However, Koiki confirmed in a terse statement on Tuesday that the report was untrue.
“Please disregard the report. There is nothing as such” he said.
