A professional actor, Yomi Fabiyi has organised a protest to press for the release of popular Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka (Baba Ijesa), who has been in detention since April 22 2021, on allegation of child abuse.
Fabiyi, who has been in the forefront for the release of Ijesa, announced this on his Twitter handle @yomifabiyi on Tuesday.
He stressed that the law must be duly observed in handling the Ijesha case, adding “Iyabo Ojo and co is not the constitution.”
According to the notice, the protest which will kickstart on 12th of May by 10am at state CIID, Panti, Adekunle bus stop, Lagos state, will follow COVID-19 protocols.
