The Agro-Industrialisation Blueprint (AIB) says its 2026 inaugural agribusiness summit will accelerate agro-industrial transformation across Africa.
The initiative’s lead advocate, Dr Godfrey Sunday, said this in a statement issued on behalf of the organisation in Abuja on Friday.
Sunday said the summit, scheduled to take place in Abuja on Nov. 12, would also feature the launch of the AIB digital portal.
The event is themed “Unlocking Africa’s Agricultural Potential through Agro-Industrialisation, Investment, Innovation and Inclusive Growth.”
He said the summit aims to strengthen partnerships, mobilise investment and encourage a shift from primary agricultural production towards processing, value addition, industrial development and job creation.
The programme will also feature high-level policy dialogue, discussions on agricultural value chains and Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZs), as well as the AIB Africa Agro-Industrial Investment Forum.
