All is set for the 2025 edition of the Society of Digital Newspaper Owners of Nigeria (SDNON) Summit, as final arrangements reach top gear ahead of the highly anticipated event scheduled for November 13, 2025.
With the theme “Policy Shifts in Cyber Law and Taxation: What They Mean for the Media and Nigeria’s Economy,” the summit is expected to bring together leading experts in finance, cybercrime, taxation, and public relations to dissect how emerging policies are reshaping Nigeria’s digital economy and media practice.
According to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Wale Onifade, the event will take place at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) Business District, Alausa, Lagos, starting at 10:00 a.m.
President of SDNON, Dr. Adeniyi Ifeatayo, said the summit underscores the association’s commitment to fostering credibility, innovation, and collaboration in Nigeria’s evolving media ecosystem.
“SDNON is a collective of forward-thinking digital media professionals dedicated to shaping the future of journalism in Nigeria. Together, we promote credibility, innovation, and collaboration in the digital media landscape,” he said.
Dr. Ifeatayo added that the association’s mission is to empower and unify digital newspaper owners by promoting ethical journalism and advocating for the rights and sustainability of practitioners in the industry.
“Our vision is to be the leading voice and authority for digital news media in Nigeria—driving credibility, professionalism, and progressive impact in the digital journalism space,” he noted.
The SDNON Summit 2025 is expected to attract key stakeholders, policymakers, and digital media innovators for robust dialogue on the future of journalism and economic policy in Nigeria’s digital age.
