The Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) has honoured three petroleum marketers in Adamawa State for consistently dispensing fuel accurately.
State Coordinator, Dr. Bashir Kafur, presented the awards during the authority’s 3rd Quarter Stakeholders’ Meeting in Yola, stressing the need to reward compliance as much as sanctioning defaulters.
He named the awardees as Maikadiri Nigeria Ltd, Fahimta Oil Nigeria Ltd, and NNPC Retail Affiliate (Madagali Oil).
Responding, the marketers described the recognition as their first official acknowledgment, pledging to sustain honesty in their operations.
Kafur urged other operators to emulate them while warning against product diversion and smuggling.
