A local rice processing company based in Kuta, Shiroro local government area of Niger state, has announced the availability of its premium stone-free parboiled rice, known as Kuta Parboiled Rice. The move is in a bid to promote locally produced agricultural products.
The company, located at the Kuta main market, is calling on consumers and retailers to patronize its high-quality rice, which is proudly processed to meet local dietary standards.
According to the lead producer, Suleiman Dauda, the rice is not only free from stones but also readily available in various quantities to meet consumer demands.
“We kindly urge the public to patronize us. Kuta Parboiled Rice is clean, stone-free, and processed with care. We are committed to ensuring quality and affordability,” he said.
A regular customer, Mrs. Hassana Abdullahi, praised the quality of the rice, noting its cleanliness and taste. “Since I started using Kuta Parboiled Rice, I’ve had no complaints. It cooks well and doesn’t need extra cleaning. It’s just what every household needs,” she said.
The producer assured that it’s mini factory is easily accessible at the Kuta main market, adding that they look forward to welcoming more customers from within and outside the community.
This local initiative supports the broader efforts to boost food production and self-sufficiency in Niger State and across Nigeria.
