The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus has commended the governor of Sokoto state for executing various projects that have direct impact on the lives of the citizenry.

Describing Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as a visionary leader which the PDP is proud of, Secondus noted that among the projects he along with the members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) inspected, the Sokoto State University Teaching Hospital (SOSUTH) when completed, will not only serve the people of Sokoto State but the entire North-West geo-political zone, the nation at large and even the neighbouring countries.

Secondus, stated this Wednesday when he led the PDP NWC on the inspection of projects being executed by the administration of Governor Tambuwal.

The NWC inspected the ongoing construction of SOSUTH and Government Girls Science Academy, Kasarawa. The August visitors also inspected the completed Advanced Diagnosis Center and the on-going 500 Housing Estate at Gidan Salanke.

Other projects the party bigwigs inspected include the General Hospital, Wamakko, the dualisation of intra-city Maituta and Waziri Abbas roads in the state capital.

Pointing out the SOSUTH project, the PDP Chairman said: “this is one of the best project the PDP can showcase in the country.”

Also commenting on the Advanced Diagnosis Centre, the PDP National secretary, Senator Umar Tsauri commended the governor for the giants stride and urged other PDP governors to emulate him.

Also speaking at Government Girls Science Academy under construction, the PDP National Women Leader, Hajiya Mariya Waziri Gwandu, thanked the governor for improving girl-child education, just as she commended him for allowing the participation of women in the governance of the state.
