Fatigue, headaches etc are first warning signs that there is something not right inside the body. While fatigue or mood swings can be due to other health issues, but the combined of the following signs and symptoms of vitamin B6 deficiency may indicate otherwise.

  1. Mood Changes and Irritability: Vitamin B6 is essential for the synthesis of neurotransmitters, including serotonin and dopamine, which play a significant role in regulating mood. A deficiency can lead to mood swings, irritability, and even symptoms of depression. If you notice increased feelings of anxiety or sadness without a clear reason, it could be linked to its low levels.

  4. Peripheral Neuropathy: Another significant sign of this vitamin deficiency is peripheral neuropathy, which is characterized by tingling, numbness, or pain in the hands and feet. This condition arises because vitamin B6 is crucial for nerve function and the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
