Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen has visited his alma mater Olusosun Primary School in the Oregun area of Lagos State to showcase his CAF Best Player award.
The Napoli star won the CAF 2023 Men’s Player of the Year award last December.
The feat made him the first Nigerian to win the award since Nwankwo Kanu in 1999.

Photojournalist Sulaiman Adebayo, popularly called Pooja, on Tuesday shared a video of the footballer at the school on social media.
The caption read, “Victor Osimhen takes his CAF Award to Olusosun Primary School, Ojota, where it all started with street coaches and friends.”

Osimhen, who lived in Olusosun, a small neighbourhood near Oregun, was at the school in June 2023.
The striker went to his former classroom, saw his old teacher, and took pictures with the present students of the school.

He won the Serie A with Napoli two seasons ago. It was the first time the club would lift the trophy after more than three decades.
He recently lashed out at Coach Finidi George saying “After my MRI the next day I went to see the doctor. Immediately I called Finidi. I told one of my guys to do a video as the doctor was speaking to Finidi and I. I have it all on video.”
