The Sahel Consulting Agriculture and Nutrition Ltd, an NGO, has raised concern that Nigeria faces 40 per cent wastage of its annual agricultural produce.

A Food System/Nutrition Specialist at the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations, Mr Ibrahim Ishaka revealed that Nigeria loses around 50% of its agricultural products along the food supply chain.
