A Somos Company and provider of numbering intelligence and mobile identity solutions, XConnect, has partnered with SONIO, an identity orchestration solutions provider, to enhance fraud prevention and compliance for banks, fintech firms and other regulated sectors.
The partnership integrates XConnect’s network APIs into SONIO’s Identity Orchestration Platform, enabling enterprises to strengthen digital onboarding and identity verification through a single integration.
According to the companies, the collaboration will benefit regulated sectors such as fintech, banking, online sports betting, gambling and other enterprises that require secure identity verification and compliance processes.

Through the integration, SONIO customers will gain access to XConnect’s SIM Swap, MPM KYC Match, and Number Verify API services, allowing organisations to access network-level identity and fraud detection signals without building separate connections to multiple mobile operators or identity vendors.
Chief Identity Officer at XConnect, Mark Harvey, said the partnership comes at a time when organisations face increasingly sophisticated fraud threats.
“As digital onboarding accelerates and fraud activity becomes more advanced, enterprises require faster and more reliable ways to establish and maintain trust,” Harvey said.

“By combining SONIO’s flexible onboarding and compliance workflows with XConnect’s live SIM Swap, MPM KYC Match and Number Verify APIs, organisations can make stronger identity decisions while minimising integration complexity.”
The companies said SONIO’s orchestration layer, combined with XConnect’s real-time operator data, would help enterprises close security and compliance gaps, reduce fraud risks and improve onboarding efficiency.
They added that the solution also offers unified identity verification workflows through a single API call, helping businesses reduce call drop-offs and strengthen customer identity assurance.

For iGaming and gambling operators, the firms said XConnect’s MPM KYC Match solution supports compliance and age verification while helping address fraud and bonus abuse.
Chief Sales Officer at SONIO, Xhejn Dule, said the integration would give organisations direct access to trusted mobile network data within their existing identity workflows.
“By working with XConnect, we are making it easier for highly regulated sectors to manage their identity strategies and adapt to complex compliance environments,” Dule said.
