Afrobeats superstar Davido has unveiled his own line of electric bikes, a project he describes as a step towards generational wealth, sustainability, and empowerment.

Announcing the venture on Instagram on Tuesday, the 32-year-old singer expressed his long-term vision for ownership and impact.

“Manifestation is spiritual,” Davido wrote.
“Years ago, I claimed 30BG, but it wasn’t just about success—it was about purpose. Today, I’m transforming that vision into something bigger: generational wealth and ownership.”

Developed in partnership with Spiro, a major player in Africa’s electric vehicle market, the bikes aim to provide a Made-in-Africa solution to transportation challenges across the continent. The project focuses on empowering motorcycle riders (Okada riders) and promoting sustainable mobility.

“This isn’t just about business,” Davido stated.
“It’s about creating a Made-in-Africa solution for Africa. Streams might belong to foreign labels, but this is how you flip the script—influence into equity, and visibility into ownership.”

He also highlighted the role of Okada riders in shaping his career, noting their contribution to spreading his music and name across Nigeria and Africa.

“These same Okada drivers, who have supported me throughout my career, are now at the centre of this vision. They moved my music, my name, and my story across every corner of Nigeria and Africa. Now it’s time to give back.”

The partnership with Spiro includes financing solutions to help riders across Nigeria and Africa afford the bikes.

Davido praised Tycoone and the Spiro team for their innovative design and teased the upcoming reveal of the final product.

“Big shoutout to Tycoone and the Spiro team for the groundbreaking design. I can’t wait until we reveal the final product. Oh yeah, I put my people on.”

The bikes will be available in multiple African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda.

“This is more than a deal; it’s a statement—ownership, empowerment, and legacy in motion. Africa is not just catching up—we’re redefining what it means to lead,” Davido concluded.
