Stellantis took part in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) held in Algiers on September 5–6, 2025, showing its strong commitment to shaping the future of mobility and industry across Africa.

The company had the honor of welcoming the President of Algeria and other top government officials to its exhibition stand. Their visit underlined the importance of regional cooperation and the growing role of the auto industry in Africa’s economic growth.

The IATF 2025 was a major platform for dialogue, innovation, and partnerships. Stellantis used the opportunity to engage with stakeholders, business leaders, and policymakers to share its plans for greener, more connected, and inclusive mobility in Africa.

The event also highlighted Stellantis’ investment in local skills, industrial capacity, and sustainable technologies.

“Our participation in IATF reflects our deep commitment to Africa’s future,” said Samir Cherfan, Chief Operating Officer for Stellantis Middle East & Africa. “We believe in Africa’s potential to lead in innovation, and we want to support its development through partnerships, local investments, and smart mobility solutions that meet the needs of African citizens.”

Throughout the fair, Stellantis joined key conversations about Africa’s industrial future.

At the Ministerial Roundtable, the company sat with policymakers and industry leaders to discuss major challenges in the auto sector. The talks focused on building regional value chains, creating stronger political alignment, and putting the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) into action — all key to expanding industrial capacity and making Africa more competitive.

Stellantis also joined discussions on affordable mobility and micromobility, stressing its focus on inclusive transport solutions for both cities and rural areas.

As part of this plan, the company recently introduced the FIAT TRIS, its first three-wheeled electric vehicle, designed to support last-mile deliveries and boost economic opportunities across the region.

Stellantis continues to grow its presence in the Middle East and Africa, in line with national and regional development goals.

The company remains committed to empowering communities, supporting local economies, and delivering transport solutions that are sustainable and inclusive.
