The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), and the Federal University, Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) have jointly signed a memorandum of understanding for collaborative training and research in the area of nuclear science and technology.
The MoU is to serve as a guide for collaborative Training and Research in Nuclear Science and Technology (TRCNST) for postgraduate and undergraduate students of Federal University Dutsin-ma.
ASHENEWS reports that the MoU signing ceremony took place at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Monday.
While the Vice-Chancellor of ABU, and FUDMA, Prof. Kabiru BALA, and Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi, respectively signed on behalf of the two institutions.
Prof. Bichi was represented at the occasion by FUDMA Director of Research and Development, Dr. Muhammad Gharzali Garba.
The Director of the Centre for Energy Research and Training (CERT), of the ABU, Prof. S.A. Jonah, led the FUDMA team on a tour of facilities located at the Centre.
Those, who accompanied the representative of the Vice Chancellor of FUDMA, were the Registrar, Iliyasu Falalu Rafindadi and the Dean, Faculty of Physical Sciences, Dr. Emmanuel Joseph.
