President Muhammadu Buhari and the governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have held a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The chairman of the forum and Kebbi state governor, Abubakar Bagudu led his colleagues to the meeting that lasted about 30 minutes.
The reason for the meeting was not known and the governors did not brief the press as at the time filing this report.
In attendance were Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his Ekiti State counterpart, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Governor Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun, Abubakar Bello, Inuwa Yahaya, Abdullahi Sule and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr Eric Igwe.
After the meeting, the governors met with vice president Yemi Osinbajo.
