ASHENEWS reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State on Tuesday suspended seven members.
The members included two former ministers, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Buhari Bala.
Others include Haruna Saidu Dayn D.O, Sani Bawa Argungu, Ibrahim Abdullahi Manga, Bala Abdullahi Dolekaina, and Maryam Isah.
In a letter dated 14th March 2023, the PDP accused the affected members of ‘gross anti-party activities’.
The letter signed by the party’s secretary, Abubakar Bawa Kalgo read ” This is to inform the members, supporters of the PDP, and the general public that the following persons are indefinitely suspended from the party due to gross anti-party activities in the state.
“Their suspension takes effect from today 14th March 2023 as approved by the State Executive Committee as well as Party Elders in the state,”
