The Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi on Thursday, revalidated his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, saying that the party was consolidating its support base in Sokoto state.
The minister revalidated his membership at Runfar Assibiti 003, Shiyyar Magaji, Dingyadi / Badawa Ward, Bodinga local government of the state and issued with a new card No. 001, by the Chairman of the National Registration and Revalidation exercise deployed from Abuja, Professor Saleh Galadima Kanam.
Speaking shortly after, Dingyadi described the exercise as very encouraging and successful.
“The people are trooping en masse and participating in the exerise, so that they can get registered.
“I am therefore thanking the people of the state for their support to the APC and it’s National Leader, President Muhammadu Buhari.
“The party is getting sustained support to the party and we are appealing to Nigerians to sustain this invaluable gesture.
“The people should come out and register and allow others willing to join the party to do so, as they have been agitating to do so,” he said.
Dingyadi also said that Buhari was fully committed to ensuring the security of lives and properties of all Nigerians.
