The Kebbi state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has denied media reports that it suspended two ex-ministers, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki and Buhari Bala, and five others.
Reports on Wedesday, including on ASHENEWS indicated that the two former ministers, and Haruna Saidu, Sani Bawa Argungu, Ibrahim Abdullahi Manga, Bala Abdullahi Dolekaina, and Maryam Isah had been suspended by the party on Tuesday.
However, the state chairman, Bello Usman Suru in a statement made available to ASHNEWS on Wednesday, debunked the news report, saying that the letter purported to have suspended party members, did not emanate from its Secretariat.

RE: SUSPENSION OF SOME PDP MEMBERS IN KEBBISTATE
The attention of Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) Kebbi State Chapter has been drawn to a purported Press Release dated 14 March, 2023 on the above subject matter.
However, the PDP Kebbi State Chapter wishes to inform the general public to disregard the information on that purported Press Release, which did not emanate from the State Secretariat of the Party.
It was a forged document in order to create mischief and disunity in the PDP.
We also wish to use this opportunity to call on the good people of Kebbi State that the PDP remains resolute and united for the victory in the forthcoming Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections.
We thank the good people of Kebbi State for their support in voting the PDP candidates all over the State.
Thank you and God bless.
