#NigeriaDecides – A former Head of State and Chairman of the National Peace Committee, Abdulsalami Abubakar has urged Nigerians to maintain peace even after the 2023 general elections.
Abdulsalami stated this shortly after he cast his vote at the Uphill polling unit in Minna on Saturday.
Abdulsalami, who commended Nigerlites for the peaceful conduct of the elections in the state urged them to maintain the same decorum after the results are announced.
“I have been able to perform my civic responsibility, am happy we have peace in the country during the election
“From what I have seen here, it is very comfortable, the moment they see you, the BVAS capture you and give you your ballot papers for you to cast your vote.
“From all that has been going on everything is going on smoothly and peacefully, we thank God for how things are going on in Nigeria and Niger State, “he said.
